Dear Friends,

We begin the One in Christ, 2025 Bishop’s Appeal this coming weekend, a vital effort in our journey of spiritual and pastoral renewal. Together, as The One, we stand united as a family, transforming lives through faith and service.

Your support of the Bishop’s Appeal is an investment in hope, healing, and renewal. It enables us to:

Launch transformative ministries, including the Stephen Ministry, which offers care for individuals facing life’s challenges, and the Diocese of Bridgeport Guilds, which deepen Christian discipleship and provide networks of support around common professions and interest.

Support pastoral care and outreach, such as chaplains and ministers who bring Christ’s mercy and love to the sick and suffering.

Empower future generations through seminarian and diaconate education, youth and parent formation programs, and the Bishop’s Scholarship Fund, which provides tuition assistance for Catholic education.

Provide critical assistance through Catholic Charities, delivering food, shelter, and hope to those in need.

I invite you to consider a gift to this year’s Appeal prayerfully. Together, we are One in Christ and we can make a difference that no single parish can achieve alone.

Thank you for your generosity and support.

May God bless you and your loved ones.

Most Reverend Frank J. Caggiano
Bishop of Bridgeport
