Welcome to Religious Education Program at Sacred Heart Parish

Our Mission

Is to provide a strong foundation of faith and bring Jesus Christ and his message to all the children and Youth of our Parish.

Our Program

Through our program we want to provide our children the opportunity to deepen their relationship with Jesus.

In this journey our catechists want to help each student along this path and establish a closer relationship with God, The Father, The Son and Holy Spirit.

It is important to realize for our children to strengthen their relationship with God, teachers and parents need to walk hand by hand. Parents participation is imperative and that is why this year we have included a Pledge to our registration package.

Registration for the 2025-2026 school year BEGINS July 1st.

DROP OFF/PICK UP INSTRUCTIONS

DROP OFF: ONE WAY TRAFFIC DURING DROP OFF. ENTER FROM GOLD STREET AND DROP OFF YOUR CHILD AND THEN DRIVE OUT THROUGH CHURCH PARKING LOT.
PICK UP: WE ARE NOT USING THE SCHOOL PARKING LOT FOR PICK UP. PLEASE PARK YOUR CAR IN THE CHURCH PARKING LOT AND WALK UP TO THE SCHOOL TO PICK UP YOUR CHILD. THE SCHOOL PARKING LOT IS RESERVED FOR TEACHERS AND STAFF ONLY.
FOR THE FIRST MONTH, PLEASE HAVE YOUR CHILD WEAR A NAME TAG WITH THEIR “NAME” AND “GRADE” FOR EASY IDENTIFICATION. THIS IS MANDATORY FOR GRADE 1 THRU GRADE 5.

PLEASE NOTE: ALL 3 FORMS BELOW MUST BE COMPLETED AT THE SAME TIME!!!!!

*ALL 3 FORMS ARE REQUIRED FOR REGISTRATION.

Classes for grades 1-5 are be held at 3:45-4:45 p.m. and for grades 6-8 at 6:30-7:30 p.m.

If registering your child for the first time, please include a copy of your child’s Baptism Certificate and First Holy Communion Certificate (if your child received First Holy Communion) with your payment. All payments and certificates must be mailed or dropped off to the rectory office mailbox at 38 Gold Street, Greenwich, CT 06830 within SEVEN days after you submit the registration.
